Earlier today we were rollerblading in a county park when we happened upon this creature at the side of the road. I had my digital point & shoot in my fanny pack, and I hurried to get a photo before the armadillo scurried away. Trying to be quiet, which is not easy on rollerblades, I took his photo at the side of the road.
I expected him to notice me a run away, but instead he headed in my direction.

Fantastic pictures of a real strange creature. Did you know the way to get them to move out of your Florida backyard is to spread moth balls around the garden. It really works. My brother had them under his pool deck and we got them to move on this way.
