More Disney…

In January, Eddie and I celebrated my birthday with a Saturday night stay at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. On Sunday morning I was taking some photos of the hotel lobby, when two staff members stopped to ask if I would like to take some special photos. I said yes, and they escorted us to the roof for a spectacular view of the surrounding Disney World.

After transferring the photos to my computer, I decided that the late morning light made the colors look flat, so I added a more monochromatic look in Adobe Lightroom.

Little creatures…

Earlier today we were rollerblading in a county park when we happened upon this creature at the side of the road. I had my digital point & shoot in my fanny pack, and I hurried to get a photo before the armadillo scurried away. Trying to be quiet, which is not easy on rollerblades, I took his photo at the side of the road. I expected him to notice me a run away, but instead he headed in my direction.
Thank-you, Mr. (or Ms.) Armadillo. Go in peace!

Seven Months Old…

Yesterday, Eddie's sister and her family arrived in Florida for a week at Disney World. We Our grandniece, Chloe, is now seven months old, and we haven't seen her since last September. We spent the afternoon and evening with them, and it was wonderful to see everyone, but we have to say we had the most fun with Chloe!

When I said we had the most fun with Chloe, it was really Eddie who spent the time playing with her.
